Class II+ WTG with grid-friendly ride-through.

The G87-2.0 MW remains one of the most widely deployed 2 MW turbines in the Gamesa fleet, chosen for its balance of swept area, IEC Class II+ wind rating, and the doubly-fed generator topology that delivers low-voltage ride-through to modern grid codes. We supply factory-new units, reconditioned units with full refurbishment records, and discrete component spares for operators running existing fleets.

Full-feather + disc brake

Aerodynamic pitch-to-feather is the primary brake; a hydraulic disc secondary holds the rotor during service. Independent lines.

Active Crowbar LVRT

Oversized converter with active crowbar keeps the turbine connected through grid voltage dips, meeting most utility grid codes.

Gamesa NRS noise control

Programmable noise-reduction system lets the turbine self-derate by time of day, wind sector, or season for neighbour compliance.

Refurb + new options
